2022 Tri-Municipal 4th of July Parade
Celebrate Independence Day with us! New Britain Township and Chalfont & New Britain Boroughs are hosting their annual Tri-Municipal 4th of July Parade on Monday, July 4, 2022, at 9:30 AM. The parade starts at Town Center (Butler Avenue & Ute Rd.) and follows along Butler Avenue to Rt. 152 North (Main St.) and ends at North Branch Park, 207 Park Avenue in Chalfont. All are welcome! Bring your lawn chairs & enjoy your home town, better yet, join us in the parade! Enter the annual float contest for a chance to win a great prize! Curbside Leaf Pick-Up on April 30th
Curbside leaf pick-up (in brown biodegradable leaf bags ONLY) will take place in Chalfont Borough on the morning of Saturday, April 30th. Bags should be placed curbside the evening before. Leaves only, no branches or twigs.

The 30th running of the Chalfont Challenge 5K will be on June 4, 2022. For registration information and/or to become a sponsor, please click here. For any business or individual interested in becoming a sponsor, we are now in the last 30 days of being eligible to have your name added to the 30th anniversary race day t-shirt (deadline is May 6th).

Portion of County Line to Close Starting April 11, 2022
PennDOT announced it will close County Line Road between Fairmount Avenue and Bradford Road in Warrington while repairs are made to the roadway, including a replacement of the bridge. The construction will begin in the spring of 2022 (April 11, 2022) and will close the section of road for one year with a detour. During this closure, traffic will be detoured over Lower State Road, W. Street Road and Route 611. Access to residences and businesses along County Line Road will be maintained by PennDOT within the construction zones.
The project is part of a three-mile transportation improvement project between Kulp Road and Route 611 (Easton Road). The improvement project in its entirety is expected to be completed by 2026.
Help Clean Up Borough Parks!
Help the Bird Town group clean up Borough parks! Meeting on Saturday, April 2nd @ 9:00 AM in Krupp Park (40 N. Main St.) to do spring clean up in some of the Borough’s Parks. Bring trash bags, gloves, and a grabber tool if you have one. Wear shoes that can get wet/muddy. Will be picking up plastics, fishing line, etc. Dress for the weather. Event will be rescheduled if it’s raining. We need your help!
