You can call Central Bucks Regional Police Department for an animal that has been hit by a car and is still alive (dispatch number is 215-328-8511). If you have a concern (not on the roads) regarding a sick, injured, or abandoned wildlife, please contact the PA Game Commission.

Effective March 28, 2016, Chalfont Borough began receiving Police Services from Central Bucks Regional Police Department (CBRPD). CBRPD is headquartered at 229 N. Broad Street in Doylestown Borough. (There is no longer a police department location within the borders of Chalfont Borough.) To reach CBRPD’s administrative office (for administrative matters only), call 215-345-4143, Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
For a non-emergency issue, but one that still requires an officer, call police dispatch at 215-328-8511.
To report potholes or road issues on Chalfont Borough-owned roads, please call: 215-822-7295.
You can report potholes on state-owned roads within the Borough (see list below) by using PennDOT’s website and navigating to their Customer Care Center page. If you prefer to call, you can report potholes by calling PennDOT at 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623). To report an urgent issue on a state-owned road located within Chalfont Borough, contact PennDOT’s local Bucks County office at 215-345-6060. You can also use the Customer Care Center page of PennDOT’s website to report bridge & road concerns (including the need to remove an animal carcass), and you can also use this webpage to file property damage claims.
