Clear Remaining Snow & Ice From Sidewalks
Chalfont Borough residents & business owners: immediately clear any remaining snow & ice from sidewalks. Do not deposit snow on roadway. Fire hydrants on your property must be cleared 3 ft. around hydrant & shovel a path to the street from the hydrant for firefighter access.
Snow Emergency Continues
Chalfont Borough Winter Storm Emergency was declared on Jan 31 at 1 PM and will continue for the duration of the storm until clean up has been completed. Please no parking on Borough streets or you will be ticketed and may be towed. Borough office will be closed Feb 2nd, but will respond to phone calls & emails.
Snow Emergency Declared
Chalfont Borough has declared a Snow Emergency starting at 1:00 PM on Jan 31 and continuing for the duration of the storm until clean up is completed. Please do not park on Borough streets or you will be ticketed and may be towed. Borough office will be closed Feb. 1, but will answer phone calls and emails.
Aqua PA Update
Aqua PA’s response to issues occurring today: discoloration of water was caused by the disturbance of iron deposits, that and lowered pressure were a result of the main work on Butler Ave. System will be flushed & roads salted where needed to prevent freezing.
Water Pressure Concerns in Borough
Some Chalfont Borough residents are experiencing water pressure issues today. Aqua PA is aware and has dispatched a crew to investigate. If you need to speak with Aqua PA, please call 877-987-2782.
Advanced Disposal
Advanced Disposal’s Christmas tree pick up date for Chalfont Borough residents will be on January 16, 2021. Please put your trees out to the curb the night before. Thank you!
Governor’s Announcement
Due to the New Year’s Day holiday on Friday, January 1st, TRASH PICK UP in Chalfont Borough will instead take place on Saturday, January 2nd.
