• The Borough’s residential trash & recycling collection contract with Waste Management is ending and their last collection will be on Friday, June 2nd.
• On the morning of Friday, June 2nd, put both WM trash & recycling containers out to your curb (even if empty), and they will be emptied in the morning per usual, and then picked up and permanently removed later that day (or the following afternoon, after the 5K race is over).
• The Borough’s newly contracted residential trash & recycling hauler will be Republic Services and they will be performing their first trash & recycling pick-up on Tuesday, June 6th, and thereafter TUESDAY will become the newly assigned weekly collection day.
• Republic Services will be mailing out your first invoice the week of May 15th.
• Republic Services will be dropping off their new trash & recycling containers the week of May 22nd, along with a flyer/schedule for the next year.  Continue to use your WM containers until their last pick-up date of June 2nd (because the first trash & recycling collection by Republic Services will not occur until Tuesday, June 6th).

Bird Town is holding a native plant swap/sale at Krupp Park on Saturday, May 20th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Parking at 40 N. Main Street.

There will be a curbside leaf collection performed on Saturday, April 29th.  Place leaves in biodegradable bags only (no plastic bags allowed).  Please put your bags curbside on Friday night, April 28th.
