Holiday Office Hours
In observance of the upcoming holidays, Chalfont Borough’s administration office will have limited hours.
• The office will be completely closed on the following days/times: from noon through the remainder of the day on Friday, 12/23/22, and on Friday 12/30/22.
• The office will also be closed all day on Monday, 12/26/22, and on Monday, 1/2/23.
• The office will be closed to walk-in service from Tuesday, 12/27/22, through noon on Friday, 12/30/22, but during these days/times staff will be working remotely and responding to phone calls and emails.

Santa’s Ride Through Town on 12/20/22
Chalfont Fire Company will be hosting Santa Claus’ Community Ride on December 10, 2022, weather permitting. The rain/snow date is Sunday, December 11th. Santa’s Elves will be accepting non-perishable donations for the Bucks County Opportunity Council’s Food Pantries.
Final Curbside Leaf Pick-Up 12/10/22
The last curbside leaf pick-up date with Waste Management for this year will be Saturday morning, December 10th. Place biodegradable (only) leaf bags curbside the night before pick up (tonight). Plastic bags are not allowed.
Road Closure Announcement
Thanksgiving Holiday
The Borough administration office will close at 12:00 PM on 11/23 and remain closed thru 11/25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen on 11/28 at 9:00 AM.
Leaves will be picked up 11/21/22
Borough administration is aware that Waste Management did not pick up leaf bags on Saturday, 11/19/22. Waste Management has informed us that a truck will be coming around this afternoon instead, so please leave your leaf bags at the curb and they will be picked up today, 11/21/22.
Curbside Leaf Pick-Up on Saturday, Nov. 19th
Borough residents, this Saturday, November 19th, is a curbside leaf pick-up day with Waste Management. Place leaves in biodegradable bags ONLY (plastic bags NOT allowed). Please set your bags at the curb the night before collection.
Also, please note, the final curbside leaf pick-up date for this year has been moved from December 3rd to December 10th.
Yard Waste Dumpster
There is a 30-yard dumpster in the parking lot at 40 N. Main St. for Chalfont Borough residents to use (no businesses), and it will remain there until filled. This dumpster is for YARD WASTE ONLY. Acceptable materials include biodegradable bagged leaf/grass clippings, brush, and tree limbs not exceeding four feet in length. No plastic bags allowed in dumpster. No root balls from any trees, shrubs, etc. Do not fill over the top of the dumpster and do not leave anything around the outside of the dumpster. If your amount of yard waste doesn’t fit, you must take it with you. NO SWINGSETS!!!
