Chalfont Borough Seeks Public Works Maintenance Laborer for Seasonal Work

Chalfont Borough is seeking a motivated person to perform seasonal maintenance on Borough owned properties, buildings and streets.  This is a part-time “seasonal” position.  Applicant needs to be physically capable of strenuous work, and be able to understand and follow safety precautions. The position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and the ability to quickly move arms and legs.

Salary: EOE – DOE.

Leaf Collection Day will be on Saturday, May 1st in the Borough.  Bio-degradable leaf collection bags must be used.  Plastic bags with leaf waste will not be collected.  No twigs allowed in bags with leaf waste.  No tied or bundled twigs, nor will any tree trimmings be picked up on Leaf Collection Day.  Please have bio-degradable bags at curbside the night before pick-up.

Waste Management is experiencing delays in service on April 23rd in Chalfont Borough.  Please leave your container at the curb and they will do their best to finish collecting the entire Borough today.

Waste Management was having truck issues today in Chalfont Borough and will pick-up any Borough resident’s trash tomorrow (Saturday, 4/17) that they weren’t able to pick-up today.  Please leave your trash curbside.

The Federal and State Income Tax Annual Return filing deadline was extended to May 17, 2021.  Keystone will accordingly not impose additional late filing penalty and interest to local taxpayers who file by May 17, 2021 so as to align the local filing deadline with the extended PA and the IRS filing deadlines.

This extension does not apply to any other tax payments.  Employer filing deadlines for reporting payroll withholdings are not changed.  Similarly, quarterly estimates for 1st quarter 2021 have not been extended.
