Updated Parade Route Information

Important News for the 4th of July Parade!

Starting at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 4th, all roads along and around the parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic until the parade is over and roads are officially reopened.

Plan ahead & arrive early!

No vehicle admittance or movement starting at 9:00 AM

Roads will reopen only after the parade has concluded and it is safe to do so.

Solicitation Permit extended through June 16, 2025

The Solicitation Permit issued to Isaac Gunson, an employee of Moxie Pest Control, has been extended from June 10 to June 16, 2025.  As a reminder, solicitation hours in Chalfont Borough are from 9AM to 5PM on the days it is permitted.  There is no solicitation allowed on Sundays or national holidays.  For violations to solicitation permitted hours/days or any other problems with this matter that would require assistance from Central Bucks Regional Police Department, call their dispatch number at 215-328-8511.

Parade

New Britain Township, Chalfont Borough, and New Britain Borough are pleased to announce plans for the annual Tri-Municipal 4th of July Parade, which will be held on July 4th starting at 9:30 AM at the Town Center on Butler Avenue.

Parade coordinators are asking for businesses to consider making donations/sponsorships in exchange for recognition.

Solicitation Permits were issued to Matthew Fry and Isaac Gunson.  They are both employees of Moxie Pest Control and will be circulating in the Borough with valid permits from 5/27/25 through 6/2/25. There is no soliciting allowed on Sundays.

Bucks County Announcement

Bucks County Commissioners and the Bucks County Planning Commission are working to update the County’s Act 167 Stormwater Management Plans.  They have engaged with NTM Engineering to assist.  As part of that work, they will be conducting field visits throughout the county on May 21, May 27-30, and on June 2-3, and June 5-6.  Please see the letter for more details.
