North Wales Water Authority Work

North Wales Water Authority (NWWA) has hired DSW Services to help them conduct a water main survey and some of their work will take place in parts of Chalfont Borough. Their work will begin on Monday, August 4 at 8:00 AM. The work is expected to continue for at least one month, with the possibility of extending up to three months, depending on conditions in the field. The contractor will be using a black Toyota Tacoma clearly marked with their company name (DSW Services) and phone number on the side of the vehicle. The only areas of Chalfont Borough where this will take place (listed in no particular order) are on Sunset Ave (from Westview Ave to N Main St), behind the properties on Park Avenue from N. Main Street to the Forest Park Water treatment plant (on the treatment plant side of Park Ave only), and then on Bristol Road (from W Butler Avenue to Forrest Drive). For these areas, a NWWA employee in a NWWA truck will accompany DSW Services.

Road closure 8/4/25 to 8/8/25.

PennDOT announcement:

Local access will be maintained up to all work zones. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
